Mega Donair

The staff at Miller Park Community School want to extend a big thank you to Mega Donair for the incredible Pro-D lunch! The food was excellent: fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. We especially appreciated how each platter was individually plated and customized to match each person’s preferences. Your attention to detail and generous service made the day extra special. Highly recommended!

Popped in here randomly when breezing through town and very happy i did! Very friendly staff, big portion sizes, lots of options, and very delicious! The pita is not like others and is something special, and I really like that they have a hawaian option with Pineapple. Would definitely go again and have already recommended it to others who live nearby.

I love this place!! the food is always so delicious and the lamb is super tender. Portions are huge and I believe its the best donair in the city with tons of flavor. The customer service is also TOP notch! you must try.

Anyone giving these fine folks anything less than 5 stars must have serious problems with their taste buds! This is one of the most consistent donair places I've visited. What really makes it is the fresh bread! So good! The only complaint I have is when I ordered a Mega Donair and the nice lady looked me over and said "Are you sure? You are so skinny! How can you eat so much?" Yeah.....I ate the whole thing! And it was delicious! Would give 6 stars if I could!

This is the best donair place in the area. They make their own pitas fresh and once you experience how moist and chewy they are, it's hard to go back to the dry, brittle pitas that your average local shop uses. The meats are also seasoned to perfection. Prices may be a few dollars above average but it's worth it just for the pita alone. It also feels good to support a true local mom and pop store.

Absolutely amazing! Everything was top-notch — the food was super fresh and flavorful, the service was fast, and the owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming. One of the best donair spots I’ve been to. Highly recommended!

As a Nova Scotian who has been in BC for 28 years, I am very picky about what people refer to as a Halifax Donair. In all the years I've been in BC, I've only found 2 donair places worth returning to a second time. One is in Kamloops, and the other is Mega Donair. I live a couple of hours from this establishment, including a ferry ride, but it is well worth the trip for a taste of home. I can no longer have dairy, so that rules out the standard sweet sauce, but they have a wonderful garlic mayo that is the perfect substitute! The owners are very friendly and even the first time I went there back in 2022, I felt like I'd known them for years. I highly recommend Mega Donair!

If you haven’t been to Mega Donair in Port Moody, you’re missing out! This place is like the Aladdin's cave of donairs, filled with treasures of flavor and freshness. Very yellowly inside... First off, the pita bread here is so fresh, you’d think they had a team of genies in the back, flattening and heating it up right before your eyes. Seriously, watching them work the dough in the machine and then heating up on the stove like watching an ancient Middle Eastern cooking show – mesmerizing! Now, let's talk about the donairs themselves. These bad boys are stuffed with ingredients so fresh, they might as well have been plucked from the Garden of Eden. Each bite is a flavor explosion that’ll have you saying, “Open sesame!” for more. And the size? Let’s just say, Ali Baba would need more than 40 thieves to finish one of these beasts! We got the chicken one, and was pleasantly satisfied after. Sure, Mega Donair might not be the cheapest eatery in the souk, but with the quality and freshness of their ingredients, plus the friendliness of the staff, it’s worth every dinar. The service is as warm as a Middle Eastern bazaar, and the flavors will take your taste buds on a magic carpet ride. So, if you’re in Port Moody and craving a donair that’s fit for a king, head over to Mega Donair. Your taste buds will be belly dancing with joy!
